Who is Leadership Angel?
I’m Wendy Lukacs, an Executive Coach and Leadership Development specialist who is passionate about helping my clients achieve their goals and dreams. As a Master Practitioner in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Timeline Therapy, as well as a Master Coach, I use a range of techniques to help you unlock the bright shining core inside you.
Working with private and public sector clients of all sizes, I have over 25 years’ learning and development experience, both operational and strategic. I’m passionate about developing talent to deliver services more effectively, taking their people with them, so whether you’re a leader looking to develop your team, or an individual determined to be your best self, I’d be honoured to help you.

I work in partnership with a highly-respected ILM accredited centre in the Midlands to offer ILM level 3 and 5 qualifications in Leadership and Management, and Coaching and Mentoring. I incorporate NLP techniques, positive psychology and the latest thinking from Neuroscience to deliver thought-provoking and behaviour changing training.
I can deliver this at your workplace, via video conferencing, or a combination of both.
Consultancy
If you already have an established learning and development team and need some support for a change in direction, I’ll work with you to provide guidance and solutions to help you conquer your challenges. My combined experience of working within training consultancies and strategic learning and development roles, means that I can offer first-hand experience to help you with your organisational development and talent management initiatives.
Many organisations invest in developing their people, which is great. What they don't always acknowledge and address, are the development needs of their senior management team. I can help you with both and deliver top notch solutions that your existing learning and development team can deliver.

Who am I and what's my story?
I’m a single fur mother to my German Shepherd Dog, Angel, living in Nottingham, UK. I was the younger of two siblings that wasn’t terribly applied in my school years (my sister, on the other hand, was very academic) and it was during these formative years that my biggest limiting belief was created. All it took was an offhand comment from a teacher; ”I can’t believe you’re Amanda’s sister, she’s so clever and you aren’t”. Lovely.
Eventually, it was this comment that spurred me on to make a real difference for everyone I interact with today. But in the meantime, I spent years believing that I wasn’t clever enough or good enough. It was only when I embarked on NLP Practitioner Training that I realised how that throwaway comment at a young age had become a fundamental block in life. And that is why I do what I do today. I have a passion for helping others to develop their strengths to be whoever and whatever they want to be in their life and/or career.
Over the last 25 years, I’ve worked in a huge range of organisations, building an invaluable bank of varied experience in different industries and environments, including Financial Services, Sales, Contact Centres, International Manufacturers/Distributors, Prison Services and Local Government. I’ve worked client-side, managing learning and development teams, as well as in consultancies, so I understand the real, on-the-ground challenges businesses face.
In 2020 something happened that was a real life-changer for me. It goes without saying that 2020 was the start of the global pandemic and a lockdown that changed the shape of organisations and the way we all work. It was also when I experienced a sudden and unexpected loss of a close loved one, that changed my world.
Alone and forced to sell my home with no support infrastructure, lockdown actually worked well for me! It allowed me to deal with personal circumstances whilst transitioning to an online career. But when the world finally emerged from Covid and lives started to get back to normal, I realised mine had not. I could no longer travel to London or Edinburgh with just a few days’ notice and that’s when I decided to start Leadership Angel… My specialism is Leadership and Angel is my beloved GSD and the driver for my decision to build my own business.
When I’m not working, I love nothing more than walking with Angel and reading for pleasure as well as personal development. Friendships are very important to me and I enjoy catching up with those close to me over a glass of wine, lunch or dinner.

Meet the Team
This is Angel… the inspiration behind brand Leadership Angel. I form the ‘Leadership’ element and Angel is clearly the ‘Angel’.
Angel is friendly and outgoing. She’s currently looking to ‘embark’ (excuse the pun) on Pet Assistance Therapy training, helping those in child and adult hospices, elderly care or undergoing prison sentences by providing emotional support and improving health and wellbeing. She brings her own talent to the team. Angel is a rescue dog and deeply loyal and loving.
Angel loves to join in on all online coaching and training activity (and yes… she is sworn to confidentiality). Her enjoyment in life is woodland walks, afternoon snoozing and wafer-thin honey roast ham.
